NEWS
Ty Cerdd has issued a CD of Enid Luff's music – for details contact the composer (enid.luff@gmail.com).

ABOUT ENID LUFF
Enid Luff lives in Cardiff, where she composes her music and is closely involved with Cyfansoddwyr Cymru/Composers of Wales, our professional association for composers in Wales, of which she is a founder member.

Her first training was as pianist, which included studies with George Hadjinikos in Manchester. She is also a linguist with a deep love of languages and literature, and graduated in Modern Languages in Cambridge as well as in Music at the University of Wales, Bangor. She completed her composition studies with Elizabeth Lutyens in London, and with Franco Donatoni in Milan.

Her commissions include the piano sonata “Storm Tide”, for Peter Lawson, and the theatre piece “The Glass Wall” for the Feeney Trust in Birmingham.

Enid has self-published her music since 1980 in conjunction with composer colleague Julia Usher, through their publishing company Primavera.

Enid has a close connection with the London New Wind Festival, who celebrated her 75th year by featuring her oboe solo, "The Wake", in their Concert “Birthday Composers and Friends” on Tuesday 19th October 2010 at Lauderdale House, Waterlow Park, London.

Her music is represented on two recent CD's issued by Composers of Wales – information from the Secretary (audrey.morgan59@yahoo.com)
